Help with accounts, privacy, permissions, and receipt scan quality.

Request Help

For app support or privacy questions, contact support@shopmatehq.com. Include the device model, iOS version, and a short description of the issue if you are reporting a bug.

Delete Your Account

You can delete your account directly in the ShopMate app: Settings > Delete Account. If you cannot access the app or need help with the deletion flow, contact support from the email address associated with your account.

Camera Permission

If receipt capture cannot open the camera, check iOS Settings and confirm that camera access is enabled for ShopMate. Good lighting and a flat receipt surface can improve detection quality.

Photo Permission

If you cannot choose a receipt photo, check iOS Settings and confirm that Photos access is enabled for ShopMate. You may grant access to selected photos or your full library, depending on your iOS settings.

Location Permission

Location permission is optional. If store results or nearby store selection do not look right, check whether location access is enabled and confirm that the selected store is the correct one for the price entry.

Receipt Scan Quality

For best results, place the full receipt inside the frame, avoid glare and heavy shadows, flatten folded paper, and review every detected item before saving selected prices.
